Penny Black Challenge

Today I was reading the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and really liked the sketch so decided to make a card for this challenge. The requirement is to use at least one Penny Black stamp or sentiment. I had just stamped this Penny Black flower from the "Flower Gallery" set so decided this is the image I would use. I purchased this set from Joan Fricker at Joan's Gardens.

The flowers were stamped with Memento black ink then colored with Copic markers. The circles were cut out with Nestabilities. A flourish from SU was stamped in brown ink on the Barely Banana circle and one of the rectangles. The scalloped circle is Vanilla card stock. The background paper is from Basic Grey. One of the rectangles behind the flowers is River Rock and the other is pumpkin card stock. The sentiment is from another Penny Black stamp set called "Enjoy Life". A piece of River Rock ribbon was tied under the design. The butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and a few Kaiser pearls added to finish the card.
